For SUNY Oswego in Syracuse Students Only: Books Not Available at Penfield Library

When you are currently enrolled in a course at SUNY Oswego in Syracuse (Syracuse Metro Center) and live outside the 13126 Zip Code, you may have books from other libraries shipped to your home with free return.

Article Delivery

Most of the magazine and journal articles you will need will be directly available online in one of our databases.  If not, we will deliver an electronic copy to you whether we own the article in print or we bring it in from another library through interlibrary loan.  Make your request using ILLiad

Book Delivery

Books and media that are available at Penfield Library will be shipped to your home with free return.  Make your request using ILLiad.

Books and media that we DO NOT OWN should be requested from interlibrary loan services at your local libraries (whether a public library, workplace library, or community college library).

If you prefer, you can request books from other libraries through Penfield Library but you must be able to pick up and return the materials at Penfield in Oswego.

If for some reason your public library cannot provide this service, and you cannot pickup books in Oswego, please contact our Interlibrary Loan Department at ill@oswego.edu or by phone at 315-312-4546, stating your need, and we will work together to obtain the materials you need.
