What are these?

Graphics can take a presentation or paper and really make it sing. Use the resources on this page to create charts, graphs, and other visuals to make your data really stand out.

LucidChart

Lucid Chart is a web-based application useful for making flow charts, Venn diagrams, mind maps, and wireframes.

Account: Sign up required. A free account is available to students. Sign up for the 30-day free trial and click on the green box that says "educational account." Make sure you use your oswego.edu email when you sign up.

ManyEyes

ManyEyes is a web-based chart making application that can import data from any spreadsheet with just a copy and paste. Use it for bar charts, pie charts, bubble charts, word pictures, and much more.

Note: All data sets used with ManyEyes become public and available for anyone to use.

Account: Signup required, but the account is free.

yEd

yEd is a desktop application for flow charts and other diagrams.

Account: No account needed, but you must download it. Available for Macs and PCs.

Wordle is a web-based application that will create a word cloud out of any text you can copy and paste.
