Technology Toolbox: Surveys

This Libguide contains a list of websites and applications to enhance projects. Please contact the Learning Technologies Librarian for additional help or questions.

What are these?

Need to conduct a survey? These tools will help you do just that.

Survey Monkey

Survey Monkey is a web-based way to make a simple survey, deploy it to respondents, and see the results. Unlike GoogleForms, you can remove the "back" button.

Account: Free, but you only get 15 questions and 100 responses, so edit your survey carefully.

Google Forms

You can create a Google Form from your Laker Apps account. Just go to "Documents" and choose "Form" from the "Create" drop-down menu. Google Forms are great, but if you need to conduct a survey that won't let the subject go "back," You will need to use Survey Monkey.

Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere is a quick and easy way to add interactivity to your presentataions. Respondants can use Twitter, text messages, or a web bowser to respond in almost real time. An account is free, but you can set up a poll without signing up.
