Steer clear of searches like "What clothing did women wear in the Meiji period in Japan?"

Instead, pull out just the most important keywords and run a search that looks like:

clothing AND women AND Japan AND Meiji

Covers: 1954 - present (citations)

Benefits: Get just about any book or article ever--for FREE.
Drawbacks: It takes a couple days to arrive. Plan on 2-3 business days for an article, or 5-7 business days for a book.
