Assignment Overview
The purpose of this assignment is to introduce (or re-introduce) you to some of the library's resources for education research, and to help you get started on the critical review of literature assignment (which will be due in the next module).
Here's what your professor would like you to submit - I've reposted this from Blackboard:
In preparation for the critical review of the literature assignment, you will need to access some of the library's resources to complete the following tasks.
- Write down a concise research topic.
- List three (3) key concepts, which are suitable to your search.
- Make a list of at least five (5) journal articles and one (1) thesis/dissertation you found relevant to your topic. All the articles should be research-based. They must also be within the last ten years (since 2009, unless a historical perspective is significant to your research) and should be in APA style.
- List two (2) websites in which you found relevant information to your research topic. Describe briefly (not more than a paragraph per website) why the site is relevant to your research.
The rest of this guide will walk you through each of these requirements.
