Kanopy is a video streaming service offering a collection of documentaries, feature films, and more from a variety of well-known and independent producers. SUNY Oswego has access to some of the films in Kanopy's collection; other films in Kanopy may be available for class use, by request.
National Jukebox, from the Library of Congress, makes historical sound recordings available to the public free of charge. includes more than 10,000 recordings made by the Victor Talking Machine Company between 1901 and 1925. Jukebox content will be increased regularly with Victor recordings and acoustically recorded titles made by other Sony-owned U.S. labels, including Columbia, OKeh, and others.
Virtually spanning the history of recorded sound, the Bob Pinson Recorded Sound Collection embraces nearly 200,000 sound recordings including an estimated 98% of all pre-World War II country recordings released commercially.
