University History

Penfield Library offers a wide variety of information sources on the historical and social development of higher education in the community of Oswego. SUNY Oswego has a long and prestigious past that is well represented in numerous materials throughout the library. 

The Reference and Circulating collections have many books and monographs which explain and define the role of the college as a cultural center and educational institution. 

Special Collections has a selection of items about the college's history including college publications, faculty publications, students' theses and historic college photographs.
