Flags of Nations: Home

A guide to the Flags of Nations displayed in Marano Campus Center.

About

SUNY Oswego’s Flags of Nations represent the international and Indigenous connections of the SUNY Oswego community. Each flag displayed represents an enrolled SUNY Oswego student. We display these flags to acknowledge, celebrate, and honor the history, places, and experiences of our diverse community.

Flags in this guide are arranged alphabetically by country name. To learn more about a country represented here, please follow the links to Encyclopedia Britannica Academic (Penfield Library resource available to current SUNY Oswego affiliates) or The World Factbook (freely available online) provided with each flag below. If you'd like to locate additional resources, please visit Penfield Library's General Research Guide and Global and International Studies Research Guide for research tips and search options.
