How to renew items
Note: You can renew Penfield Library books and books you've borrowed via Interlibrary Loan using these steps.
-
Go to the Our Collections page and click on My Account. If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to login with your Oswego username & password.
-
Once you're logged in, click on your name, and then click My Loans.
-
Click Renew next to the item you want to renew. Click on the word Renew next to the item you want to renew. If it says "Not Renewable" next to your item, you can contact the Check-Out & Reserves Desk for more information.
-
That's all you need to do! If it's an item from our library, you should see a message at the top of the page with your new date. The list of items is ordered by due date - so the book I just renewed is at the bottom of the list (and not pictured in the screenshot) since it is due later than the other items I have checked out.
If you're renewing something you've borrowed from another library, you should see a message that says "Pending Approval" like the last item pictured in the screenshot below.
