AED 530: Methods in Art Education K-12

Before you start searching...

A few things to know about the library databases:

  • The library subscribes to about 100 databases, most of which have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles.

  • Many databases are provided by the same company - this means that some of the databases look identical!

Keep track of your findings

It's a good idea to keep track of the articles you find, so it's easy for you to refer back to them when you're writing your reference list. Here are a few ways you can do this:

  • Download the article PDFs and store them in a Google Drive folder (or on a USB drive, or your computer, etc.)
  • Save the URL of useful articles

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not copy the URL from the address bar! That is a temporary link and will stop working almost immediately. Instead, use the instructions in each section (Ebsco Databases and ProQuest Databases) for instructions on how to get the correct URL to save.
