Transportation Options

Whether you're trying to save the environment, don't have a car, or just don't want to fight for a parking spot, there are many options for how to get to campus.

Bikes

Did you know the Office of Sustainability has a BikeShare program?  You can borrow a bicycle and contribute to the reduction of our carbon footprint.  For more information on the BikeShare program, email bikeshare@oswego.edu.

Birds (motorized e-scooters)

While SUNY Oswego does not own and operate these, they are available through the City of Oswego.  There is a Geo-fence however that will not allow the Birds to actually go on campus, but they will get you as far as Sheldon Avenue. For more information see the City of Oswego Bird E-Scooter webpage.

CENTRO

Centro not only has two campus-based loops that will pick you up at one location and drop you off at another campus location free of charge. It also has bus service to and around Oswego and to Syracuse.  This is a great way to reduce your carbon footprint.  The Schedules and fee rates can be found at Centro.org.

The Office of Sustainability also has a Bus Share app that makes bus travel in Oswego easier by finding the quickest bus routes in the city of Oswego..  For more information, email the Office of Sustainability.
