A free, open-source, multi-track sound editor. It is also available on the public computers in the library. You can use it for podcasts, music, or creating sound files to add to video projects. Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
NOTE: The program comes with the ability to export to a .wmv file. If you would like to export as an .mp3, you need to download the LAME Encoder.

Where to get music & sound
If you want to create your own recordings, the library has USB microphones and digital voice recorders available for you to borrow for free.
