About the Latino Student Union
The Latino Student Union (LSU) is an organization active at SUNY Oswego since 1968. The Latino Student Union’s mission is to increase awareness about Latin culture, traditions, foods, and music by educating the campus and community through weekly programs, tablings, and special events. With our events, we strive to obtain unity with other cultural organizations and students. Our events also give students the opportunity to meet and grow closer to one another. They encourage Latinos and non-Latinos to consider a community as a united whole and provide support and appreciation.
