Private companies, unlike public companies, are not required to make their company information public. As a result, you will have to use a variety of sources to find reliable company information.
The image below shows how to search by company name. The short tutorial that follows that image shows how to identify company type and how to use subsidiary information to locate more information about your company.

SEARCH BY COMPANY NAME
IDENTIFY COMPANY TYPE & SUBSIDIARY
Annual reports for private companies are generally not available to the public. As a result, you will need to use business publications and other news sources to gather information about your company.
The following image is a sample search for Wegman's annual sales information using ABI/INFORM found on the list of business databases. The first article seems to provide an annual sales figure. Notice that the Wall Street Journal is the source of this information.
Use any of the databases listed below to locate SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) information for your company. The image below shows Google LLC's profile in Business Insights Essentials. If there are SWOT reports, you will find them linked to the company profile. The red arrow shows where you will find SWOT reports in this database.
If you can't find an analysis for your company in Business Insights Essentials, try SWOT Analyses from Business Source Complete. You will only need to add your company name to the second search box. The second image below is a sample search for SWOT reports in this database.
If you're still not able to locate SWOT reports in either of these databases, you will need to search the library's databases for articles discussing your company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
